The Lasallian Volunteers (LVs), a program of Christian Brothers Conference, is accepting applications for the 2014 – 2015 service year.
Time is running out to get in on this exciting chance to live the Lasallian mission in a unique service opporunity. LVs is a year-long volunteer program that enables recent college graduates to live the three core values of faith, service, and community. LVs currently serve at 22 Lasallian schools and ministries throughout the U.S. and live in community with fellow volunteers and De La Salle Christian Brothers. Volunteers serve in a variety of positions in the schools such as, campus ministers, classroom teachers, teaching assistants, special teachers (art, gym, music), and tutoring.
LVs is looking to fill positions including:
- Science teachers
- Social studies teachers
- P.E. teachers
- Elementary certified teachers
- High school campus ministers
LVs is an AmeriCorps program; LVs are eligible for loan forbearance and the AmeriCorps Education Award to pay off student loans or pay graduate school tuition.
