Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga is hosting a conference on liturgical arts. Ars Celebrandi: Moved by the Spirit will take place Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Nationally renowned liturgical artist and Christian Brother William Woeger, founder and director of the Cathedral Arts Project based at Omaha’s St. Cecilia Cathedral, will speak at the conference on this approach to liturgy. The event will show how paying attention to the details that create liturgical art can inspire Catholics to enthusiastically attend Mass, engaged by the beauty and tension of liturgy.
