The Board of La Salle Academy in Providence, RI announced the appointment of Brother Thomas Gerrow as the new president. He will assume the position when Brother Michael McKenery steps down at the end of this school year following 14 years of service.
Brother Thomas is a graduate of West Catholic High School and La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. He has been immersed in Lasallian education for the last 40 years. Most recently Brother Thomas was president of St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C., a position he held for 16 years. He is currently on the boards of La Salle Institute in Troy, NY and Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, NY.
Brothers Thomas and Michael will work together this year on the transition.
