Brother Louis DeThomasis, FSC, has released a new book, which he wrote with Sister Cynthia A. Nienhaus, CSA. The Silent Schism: Healing the Serious Split in the Catholic Church uses “the grammar of simplicity” to describe the current schism happening in the Catholic Church worldwide and offer solutions for how to heal it. The authors call on both traditionalists and progressives in the church to recapture the mission of Jesus to bring about the reign of God “on earth, as it is in heaven.”
The Silent Schism is available through ACTA Publications and on Amazon.
Brother Louis is also the author of Flying in the Face of Tradition: Listening to the Lived Experience of the Faithful (2012) and Dynamics of Catholic Education: Letting the Catholic School Be School (2013). He is currently Corporate Chairman of Christian Brothers Investment Services (CBIS) Global in Rome, Italy.
