As Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, PA, transitions from a president – principal leadership model to principal model, Brother Robert Schaefer, FSC, will begin his sixth year in the fall as principal in the newly transformed role. He will now also oversee all advancement, financial, and academic operations. Brother Robert has spent 17 years at Central Catholic, including five years as assistant principal.
“As we look to the future, Central Catholic is ready to face the challenges of providing an outstanding Catholic secondary education in the tradition of the Christian Brothers,” Brother Robert said. “The commitment of so many dedicated people to ensuring the vitality of our mission for generations of boys to come is very encouraging.”
At the conclusion of the 2013-2014 school year, Brother Patrick Duffy, FSC, completed his term as president. He is now preparing to move on to his next assignment.
