Free software is available to help develop school emergency operations plans. The U.S. Department of Education’s Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) Technical Assistance (TA) Center recently released a free, web-accessible software application EOP ASSIST to help school administrators and emergency management personnel create or revise their Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs).
