Ministries and groups looking to delve deeper into their spirituality can call on Brother Michael French of the Midwest District to facilitate retreats and workshops.
Bro. Michael offers a variety of Lasallian themes for retreats which include the basics of Lasallian spirituality, God’s images in Lasallian spirituality, and the Conduct of Christian Schools. Other topics include using prayer to deal with grief and living with a grateful heart. Retreats and workshops are not limited to Lasallian groups or in the Midwest District. Bro. Michael will also develop customized programs.
The programs are designed to engage participants in dialogue between their lives and the topic, and help them see God’s passage in the daily events of their lives.
Bro. Michael has been on staff for retreats for many years, including facilitating retreats in Spanish while working in formation in Guatemala, and working with CIL retreats in English, Spanish and French in various countries. He is back in the U.S. after serving at the Generalate in Rome for 16 years total, which includes seven years in the 1990s and 2001-2009.
