Sixty Lasallians from all five Regions of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools continue to meet at the Generalate in Rome to discuss the topic of Lasallian vocation. Ten participants traveled from Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) Districts to hear presentations on aspects of the vocation call and journey, to discuss with others (mostly those working in vocation ministry) their experiences and dreams for vocation ministry, and to plan how to better approach methods of vocation promotion and accompaniment.
The first two weeks of the five-week program gathers Brothers and Lasallian Partners and then 45 Brothers remain for a further involvement in the topic. The experience includes time for building community in prayer, meals, socials and recreation, experiences that always deepen and personalize the rich discussions. The program runs October 28 – November 28.
