Participants closed the LASSCA Conference with a quiet morning of prayer and breakfast on Wednesday, February 25, after days packed with speakers, presentations, breakout sessions and more.
Wednesday’s prayer centered on the importance of personal sanity and serenity. Cheri Broadhead, principal of Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, Minnesota, and Gary Cannon, principal of Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco, California, shared personal reflections. Cannon explained how it’s vital for leaders to take things as they come and ended by telling participants to “see yourself as God sees you.”
After a busy few days in San Diego, participants are heading back to their ministries with inspiration to implement new insights and fire to continue to fuel the important work they do for the Lasallian mission.
