Registration for the 2020 Huether Lasallian Conference, now a virtual event scheduled for November 19-21, will open in early October. Huether will be hosted on the online platform Eduscape, through its Procedo Project, to provide an interactive and rewarding virtual conference experience at no cost to participants or ministries.
This year’s conference, themed “Great Things are Possible: Our Lasallian Mission Reimagined and Renewed,” is being reimagined in order to transition compelling content to a virtual format in light of concerns related to travel and large gatherings related to COVID-19.
Through the Eduscape platform, participants will have the opportunity to attend keynote addresses, take part in breakout sessions, pray together and build community through various networking options. Eduscape has developed and delivered synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences to over 750,000 educators in 46 states and 16 countries. It most recently launched the Procedo Project, an initiative to revitalize Catholic schools through innovative practices and sustainable digital transformation.
As previously announced, Dr. Nekeshia Hammond, past president of Florida Psychological Association, and Jeff Yalden, motivational speaker, will deliver keynote addresses. Participants who register for the conference will be able to view recordings of the keynote speakers and breakout sessions for 60 days.
More information on the conference will be released in the weeks ahead. Huether is hosted by the Office for Lasallian Education at Christian Brothers Conference in Washington, D.C. Learn more about Huether >
