Christian Brothers Conference is launching a Lasallian Spirituality Fellows program that will begin September 2025. This program will invite Lasallians to deepen their knowledge of Lasallian Spirituality while engaging in three in-person sessions and 15 virtual sessions over 18 months. Lasallian spirituality will be presented as a ministerial journey of faith, in both a personal and communal way. Participants will take on this journey as educators in Christ, guided by the spirit for the good of the world, particularly the young and the poor.
Applicants should possess some familiarity with the story of Saint John Baptist de La Salle and his writings, some understanding of Catholic theology, and an understanding of oneself as being a “pilgrim” on a spirituality journey, with preference to those who have engaged in spiritual direction or pastoral counseling. Applicants should also be willing to disseminate Lasallian spirituality especially on the local level or enrich Lasallian scholarship through the production and publication of new resource materials.
The inaugural group will be led by Brother William Mann, FSC, D.Min. Applications are due by May 15, 2025, and applicants will be notified of their status by June 2, 2025.

“The spirit of this Institute is, first, a spirit of faith, which ought to induce those who compose it not to look upon anything but with the eyes of faith, not to do anything but in view of God, and to attribute everything to God, always entering into these sentiments of Job: ‘The Lord gave me everything, and the Lord has taken everything away from me; nothing has happened to me except what pleases him.’” (Rule of 1718, No. 2.2)
