New President to Lead Mullen High School

UnreinThe Mullen High School Board of Trustees announced Carl Unrein will serve as the new president of the Denver school beginning July 26.

Unrein, a 1972 graduate of Mullen and parent of two Mullen graduates, has served as a trustee for the past year. Prior to accepting the role of Mullen’s President, Unrein served as President and CEO of the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation in Denver for nine years. Unrein’s immediate focus will be to build on the strengths of the teaching faculty and to stabilize the school’s administrative and communications infrastructure to prepare the school for growth.

Outgoing President Ryan Clement will work with Unrein this month on the transition.
