San Miguel School Chicago announced the appointment of Phillip Jiménez as President and CEO effective July 16. Jiménez joined San Miguel as Vice President for Advancement in 2010, overseeing fundraising, regulatory compliance, marketing and community relations. San Miguel School educates underprivileged students in grades six through eight.
“I’ve been privileged to contribute to San Miguel’s learning community and to really come to know our students, families, and alumni,” said Jiménez. “The experience has been very fulfilling and I’m deeply humbled to continue to serve with individuals so committed to the mission, and to values such as exemplary education, love, family and community, service and justice. I look forward to working to ensure San Miguel’s prosperous and productive future.”
Jiménez takes over the top position from Michael Anderer-McClelland who has moved to De Marillac Academy, a San Miguel school in San Francisco, CA, as Vice President for Mission.
