A new principal is welcoming students starting a new academic year at Mullen High School in Denver, CO, which is celebrating its 80th year. James Gmelich became principal July 1, 2011 after serving for the past 19 years in Catholic secondary schools. He spent six of those years as a teacher and 13 as an administrator. Gmelich is the former principal of Regis Jesuit High School Boys Division and received a unanimous recommendation from Mullen’s discernment committee to become the next principal.
