Online Professional Development Offered in July, August

Professional development is going virtual! Lasallian educators are invited to explore timely topics through a free series of professional development opportunities this summer. Dynamic speakers will address issues complicated by coronavirus, including relationships, legal considerations and trauma-informed care. Sessions are applicable for all educational ministries, from higher education to youth and family services.

Speakers include Ann Garrido, D.Min., Tending to the Relationships that Matter Most During COVID-19 (July 14, 1:00 p.m. eastern); Sister Mary Angela Shaughnessy, SCN, JD, Ph.D., Navigating the Legal Landscape in a Coronavirus World (July 21, 1:o0 p.m. eastern); Roy Petitfils, MS, How the New Science of Trauma Will Help Us Better Understand, Reach and Influence Those Entrusted To Our Care (July 28, 1:00 p.m. eastern), Strong in the Broken Places: Helping Students, Clients and Families Who Have and Are Experiencing Trauma Heal and Grow in Resilience ( July 30, 1:00 p.m. eastern), From Wounds to Wisdom: How to Carry Our Own Wounds While Helping to Heal Those of Others (August 4, 1:00 p.m. eastern).
