Review for Religious is relaunching this June with the purpose of exploring religious life in the contemporary world. Review for Religious, published by the Conference of Major Superiors of Men, has a 70-year history of promoting Catholic religious life and one’s relationship with God, the Church and the world. The need for sustained reflection on religious life as perceived by the Conference of Major Superiors of Men inspired this relaunch after a nine-year hiatus. The June issue will feature an essay by Cardinal Michael Czerny, SJ, entitled “Religious Life from Vatican II to Fratelli Tutti,” along with peer-reviewed content and book reviews focused on religious life and the challenges and contexts of the contemporary world. Along with the relaunch of the journal comes a new Review for Religious website, which will offer news, essays and an opportunity for discussion of art. Brother Ernest Miller, FSC, D.Min., vice president of mission, diversity and inclusion at La Salle University, serves as the chair of the Review for Religious editorial board.
