Ronald Doyle, AFSC, longtime athletic director at Archbishop Rummel High School in Metarie, LA, died July 18, 2011 in hospice care after a battle against cancer.

Ronald Doyle was an original faculty member of Archbishop Rummel, joining for its second year in 1963. He held numerous coaching jobs and administrative positions during his long career at the school. During the 2010-11 school year, Coach Doyle was Director of Donor Relations in the school’s Development Office.
