The task of rebuilding the communities devastated by Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) is a concern for many, as the call for donations continues.
A recent letter from Brother Jose Mari L. Jimenez, FSC, sector leader of De La Salle Brothers Philippines, indicated how thankful the community is and that the relief efforts have been well-received. Goods and donations have been sent to Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Coron, Palawan, Northern Negros, Panay Island, Bantayan, Cebu, and Leyte.
“The Philippine Lasallian Family is very grateful to our fellow Lasallians from different parts of the world, who have shown their solidarity with our countrymen in this time of need,” said Bro. Jose.
Donations and financial contributions are still being accepted through the fund set up by the Brothers of the Christian Schools. Please remember the typhoon victims and pray for their recovery during the advent season. Click here to donate >
