Christian Brothers Services has named Alan Weyland as director of Catholic School Management and Mission Advancement, effective July 15.
Weyland has dedicated more than 45 years of service to the Lasallian educational mission. He first began his career at Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and there held the roles of teacher, assistant principal, principal and the first lay president. In 2009, Weyland went on to lead the District of Eastern North America’s Office of Mission and Ministry as executive director.
He has worked as an independent educational consultant since 2022. Additionally, Weyland has served as a member of the Lasallian Region of North America’s Lasallian Educational Council (LEC) and as a delegate to the Institute’s Second and Third International Assembly of the Lasallian Educational Mission (AIMEL).
