Partners
Partners are individuals dedicated to serving alongside the De La Salle Christian Brothers (Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools) in the Lasallian mission. These men and women serve in a variety of capacities in Lasallian ministries and initiatives intended to advance the mission and charism locally and worldwide. In recent decades and with an eye toward the future and sustainability of the mission and charism, the Brothers have invited Partners to share responsibility for the mission and charism.
In the Lasallian Region of North America, 11,000 Partners educate, accompany and serve more than 102,645 youth and young adults in 81 elementary, middle, and secondary schools, colleges and universities, educational centers, youth and family services centers, retreat centers, and camps.
Brothers, Partners and “all those who participate in the Lasallian educational enterprise, especially those who are moving toward a sharing of the spirit and mission of Saint John Baptist de la Salle” are members of the Lasallian family (Circular 461).
