What We Do

The Lasallian mission provides transformative experiences that are innovative and holistic. The De La Salle Christian Brothers (Brothers of the Christian Schools) and Lasallian Partners work together and by association in inclusive communities where they touch the hearts of young people entrusted to their care.

The Lasallian mission embodies the vision and innovative spirit of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, patron saint of all teachers and founder of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The mission centers on Catholic values, personal relationships and academic excellence.

The Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) includes the United States and Canada, where the Lasallian mission serves more than 76,900 people through a network of seven colleges/universities, 51 secondary schools (four are Cristo Rey), and 21 middle and elementary schools (11 are San Miguel). Other ministries, which total 27, include youth and family services programs, educational centers, retreat centers, summer camps, and support ministries.
