De La Salle North Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon, has appointed Michael Bartha as its next principal, effective July 1, 2025. He will succeed Deirdre Perkins, who stepped down in the winter due to a family move abroad.
Bartha has more than 15 years of experience as an educator and school leader, including his current role as the K-12 director of mathematics at Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. He also has a private consulting practice for schools and education nonprofits. Bartha holds a master’s degree in education leadership from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee.
