Program Schedule
The Johnston Institute, a two-year formation program, meets in District and Regional sessions during the summer, fall and spring. Three online sessions (December 2026, May 2027 and September 2027) will provide opportunities for continued reflection and discussion between in-person sessions.
Dates and locations for all in-person sixth cohort gatherings have been announced.
Higher Education Opportunity

Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota is offering a Lasallian Education concentration to participants of the Buttimer and the Brother John Johnston Institute of Contemporary Lasallian Practice (JJI). Participants will earn 15 graduate credits during their participation in Buttimer or JJI through completing additional requirements with a Saint Mary’s instructor. To earn a M.A. in Education, participants must also complete to 15-credit core curriculum in addition to fulfilling this concentration requirement.
