Registration Available for ‘Constellations of Catholic Education’ October Conference

The School of Education at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota will host a one-day conference Oct. 28, 2026, focused on the grand vision of Catholic education in today’s context and diverse approaches to fulfilling the Church’s educational mission. Co-sponsored by Christian Brothers Conference, the gathering is intended to bring various perspectives to bear on the opportunities and challenges facing Catholic education leading to critical action.

Oct. 28 will mark one year since the release of Pope Leo XIV’s apostolic letter “Drawing New Maps of Hope” and 61 years since the Second Vatican Council’s Declaration on Christian Education, “Gravissimum educationis.” Catholic educators in parishes, pre-K-12 schools, universities, digital ministries, and service-learning programs are invited to attend this celebration of Catholic educational constellations as we chart new paths in “a living tradition that extends toward new forms of presence and service.”

Featured speakers include Michael Naughten, Kristin Melley, Bill Huebsch, John Reyes, Lauren Casella and Brother Bob Schaefer, FSC.

The registration fee of $25 includes lunch and a concluding social.
