The Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) has created an art contest to accompany the 2025 Year of Lasallian Spirituality. The contest’s theme is “Seeing With Eyes of Faith: Celebrating Our Lasallian Saints and Heroes,” and submissions will be accepted in the following three categories: drawing and painting; sculpture; and mixed media. Participation is open to Lasallian students, fifth graders through college/university students, as well as faculty/staff.
Participants should choose a person or group of people who they identify as a Lasallian hero or heroine and render an image of them in one of accepted mediums. The Lasallian subject could be a blessed or saint, like Saint John Baptist de La Salle, or it could be a person living and working in our Lasallian family today.
Submissions will be accepted starting April 7, 2025, through May 30, 2025. Winners will be announced by August 1. All submitted work will be featured on www.lasallian.info, with the winning selections showcased at Huether 2025.
