CBS Introduces New President, Brother Michael Quirk to Retire

Christian Brothers Services (CBS) in Romeoville, Illinois, has announced that Patrick C. Lynch, CFA, will succeed Brother Michael Quirk, FSC, Ed.D., as its next president/CEO. He will join CBS on July 5, 2022, and begin his role as president/CEO when Brother Michael retires on August 31. Lynch will be the first leader of the company who is not a Brother.

Lynch has three decades of experience in the financial services and banking industries, including 21 years as founder, president and CEO of Chicago Equity Partners, formerly a division of Bank of America. Prior to that role, Lynch served as senior vice president of Bank of America for 10 years. He currently serves on several boards with ties to Catholic education and philanthropy.

Under the leadership of Brother Michael since 2008, CBS has grown in membership and added consulting services to its portfolio through the acquisition of Catholic School Management, BMT Financial Services and instituting Mission Advancement Consulting. Brother Michael reorganized the company’s management structure and merged divisions to increase company operations and to enhance member/client services.
