Actress Jennifer Lopez and her husband, singer Marc Anthony, surprised students at San Miguel School in Washington, DC, with a visit on Wednesday, October 14. The couple was in town to celebrate Hispanic Hertiage Month with a performance in the White House. They wanted to visit a school program that focuses on Latino children, explained Brother Thomas Gerrow, President of San Miguel School. Their message to students: stay in school.
“I literally got a sense when I was walking in that I was looking at the future leaders of this country,” said Anthony. As the celebrity couple left, the students were the ones who felt like superstars. Click here to watch a video on the visit.
