Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has named Matthew J. Stoessel as the school’s president, effective November 1, 2023. This unanimous decision follows a search led by the school’s board of directors and the diocese of Pittsburgh’s secretariat for education. A 1995 graduate, Stoessel has served his alma mater as executive director of advancement since 2017 and interim president since June 2023.
