Central Catholic Names New President

Br Patrick DuffyBrother Patrick Duffy has been appointed president of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, PA. He replaces Brother Richard Grzeskiewicz who passed away earlier this month.

Bro. Patrick most recently served as the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for Nicaragua’s Atlantic Coast Region where he was responsible for more than 17,000 students and 643 teachers in 382 free primary schools. He stepped down from that position earlier this year. Bro. Patrick has stayed connected to Central Catholic while serving overseas by having the community as his stateside home. He has also coordinated and hosted seven mission trips for Central Catholic students.

A Pittsburgh native, Brother Patrick graduated from the Christian Brothers-conducted South Hills Catholic High School in Pittsburgh and La Salle University in Philadelphia.
