The December issue of LUMEN, a newsletter for Young Lasallians, features the theme “Service with the Poor,” one of the four areas of priority of the Young Lasallians Movement.
This issue of Lumen highlights the importance of this theme for Young Lasallians today, but also for the founding charism of the Institute. This issue contains five articles, one from each Region, on activities or programs of service, volunteering or immersion organized by Young Lasallians. The El Otro Lado program at San Miguel High School in Tucson, Arizona, which focuses on immigration issues, is featured for the Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN).
