DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has announced Brian Edel as principal, effective July 1, 2022. Edel has spent the past 11 years at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, where he has served in a variety of roles, including upper school director and dean of students. He holds a bachelor’s in social science education from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and a master’s in comprehensive special education from Southern Connecticut State University. He also holds a certification of advanced graduate studies in education administrations from the University of New England.
