Devastating Floods in the Philippines

Over 200 Dead and Hundreds of Thousands Displaced in the Philippines Due to Floods

Cainta

Massive rains brought about by a typhoon in Metro Manila, Philippines, on September 26, resulted in devastating floods that killed over 200 people and displaced close to 500,000 residents. After six hours of continuous rain, 80 percent of Metro Manila was under water. The Lasallian Family in the Philippines is actively involved in relief operations and has established seven relief operations centers in the Metro Manila area. Donations for flood victims will be greatly appreciated. Please contact the Christian Brothers Conference for more information.
