A global effort to help Lasallians most impacted by COVID-19 has raised $11 million and helped more than 70,000 people. A new report from the Solidarity and Development Secretariat of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, which led the campaign, shows donations helped fund 226 Lasallian initiatives all over the world, including providing humanitarian aid, food, personal protective equipment and tuition assistance.
The fundraiser was part of the #LaSalleCOVID19 initiative, which started in April to raise money and use social media to increase awareness of Lasallian responses and needs. To learn more about the campaign and make a tax-deductible contribution, visit La Salle International’s website.
