The 2020 International Lasallian Days for Peace (ILDP) will begin on September 21 (the United Nations’ sanctioned International Day of Peace) and will run through October 21. The theme for this 14th annual event is “I Choose Peace,’’ which was developed by a group of Young Lasallians commissioned by the International Coordinator of Young Lasallians. A series of global online activities, including sessions, discussions and celebrations, for this year’s ILDP are being planned. More information and resources will be shared as they become available. ILDP is an initiative of the International Council of Young Lasallians (ICYL).

Closing Prayer Vigil: The Regional Council of Young Lasallians (RCYL) is inviting Lasallians to take part in an observance of peace to celebrate the conclusion of the International Lasallian Days for Peace on October 21. Lasallians are invited to register individually or with your students, clients, communities, colleagues, families, etc. for a 15-minute time slot to join with Lasallians from across the Region to pray for peace. Activities could include group reflection, prayer service, meditation, etc. Registration coming soon!
Share your efforts: Lasallians are invited to develop creative projects within their ministries and groups to celebrate ILDP. Send photos and a description of your projects to firstname.lastname@example.org.
