Brother Rodolfo Cosimo Meoli, Postulator General of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, was elected president of the College of Postulators after having served as vice president from 2006 to 2012.
The College of Postulators is comprised of Postulators General from many Religious and Lay Institutes. It collaborates with the Holy See and supports the Postulators in matters related to the Causes of Saints. The group was founded in 1927 with 35 priests and male religious members; it now has about 170 members and has expanded to include female religious, and male and female lay members.
