La Salle Academy in New York, New York, has announced the appointment of Brother Thomas Casey, FSC, as the new president. The school also announced that Kerry Conroy will serve as interim principal.
Brother Thomas has served for the past two years as Auxiliary Visitor of the District of Eastern North America (DENA). Prior to that, Brother Thomas served for 14 years as the founding executive director of De La Salle School in Freeport, New York, until 2016 when he entered a sabbatical year.
Since September 2018, Conroy has served as the associate director of the Office of Mission and Ministry for DENA. Prior to that, she held the positions of guidance counselor, assistant principal and as principal and vice president for Academic Affairs at La Salle Academy.
