La Salle International Foundation (LSIF) in Washington, DC, has announced Brother James Martino, FSC, as its new president/executive director. The LSIF board of directors appointed Brother James to a three-year term, effective September 1, 2023. He succeeds Brother Craig Franz, FSC, who served the role since the foundation’s establishment in 2008.
Brother James is a member of the District of Eastern North America, where he has held a number of executive administration and educational ministry roles, including fundraising and project management. He holds a master of human service administration degree as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education.
LSIF is a USA-based development organization that supports a global educational, health and human service network of the De La Salle Brothers. In critical times, La Salle International provides emergency support for humanitarian relief projects around the world.
