Let Us Remember: Stories of the Holy Presence of God is now available! This first publication of the Lasallian Publications Committee (LPC) features a compilation of 52 stories that show different ways people experience the presence of God among the details of Lasallian life. The hope with Let Us Remember is to inspire readers with these stories and encourage them to pay attention to their own experiences, having just a little better insight into how God reaches out to all of us in very specific, life-giving ways, especially as part of our Lasallian charism and contexts.
LPC member Brother George Van Grieken, FSC, served as the project manager and editor. Published by Saint Mary’s Press, the book is available in print and digital formats on the Saint Mary’s Press website.
Formed in 2016, the purpose of the LPC is to determine what kind of publications are needed and how to make them accessible to: academic and research efforts; education and evangelization efforts; growth and formation of individuals and educational communities; and external audiences. The LPC is working on several other projects, including developing a series of publications and presentations on the significance and meaning of being an educator in the 21st century, and creating listings of available resources that are available focused on certain popular Lasallian topics.
