Midwest District Announces New Director of Development

Brother Larry Schatz, FSC, Visitor of the Midwest District announced the appointment of Anthony C. Chimera as the next director of development for the District. Chimera started, part-time, on July 10 and will begin full-time September 1.

Chimera brings extensive advancement and Lasallian experience from his days at De La Salle Institute in Chicago, Illinois, as a student and then for 16 years as a member of the development team. Following De La Salle, Chimera worked as the executive director of development at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, and vice president for institutional advancement at Adler University, a graduate school in Chicago and Vancouver, British Columbia, and most recently, president and CEO at Marillac St. Vincent Family Services, also in Chicago.

Chimera holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a master’s in business administration from Dominican University, and is also a graduate of the Lasallian Leadership Institute.
