Brother Larry Schatz, FSC, Visitor of the Midwest District, was elected to serve a three-year term as an at-large board member for the Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM). The election took place at the annual assembly of the CMSM, which was held August 6-9 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Also elected during the memberships meeting of the assembly was the Very Rev. Brother William Boslet, OSF, Superior General of the Franciscan Brothers of Brooklyn. He will serve a two-year term as vice president. Brother Larry is the only De La Salle Christian Brother who serves on the board.
CMSM represents more than 17,000 Catholic, religious Brothers and priests in the United States.
