The latest installment of AXIS: Journal for Lasallian Higher Education is a special issue, entitled, Lasallian Education: Which Kind of Education is It?, which is a translation of a book by Brother Edgard Hengemüle, FSC. In the book, Brother Edgard offers his personal synthesis of the essence of the characteristics of education that Saint John Baptist de La Salle conceived and practiced. Each chapter touches on education: universal education; popular education; integral and integrative education; Christian education; student-centered education; and more.
