Lasallian Educational and Research Initiatives (LERI) has announced Dr. Tricia Bruce as the new director of Springtide Research Institute®, effective September 5, 2023. Dr. Bruce is a sociologist who’s devoted her career to researching the social dimensions of religion in society. A former tenured professor, she is actively involved in the American Sociological Association, where she previously served as chair of the religion section, and the Association for the Sociology of Religion, where she serves currently as president elect.
A nonprofit organization based in Minnesota, LERI is an expression of the Lasallian mission of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, establishing works in the service of young people. This parent organization includes Anselm Academic, Professor’s Choice®, Saint Mary’s Press and Springtide Research Institute.
