La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Milwaukie, Oregon, has announced the appointment of Andrew Kuffner as its new president/principal and chief executive officer effective July 1, 2018.
Kuffner has served on La Salle’s administrative leadership team for 17 years, the last five as principal. He started working at La Salle as a physics teacher shortly after graduating with a degree in secondary education from the University of Portland in 1996. He became La Salle’s vice principal for academics in 2000, the same year he earned a master’s degree in educational policies, foundations and administration from Portland State University.
Kuffner will succeed president and chief executive officer, Denise L. Jones, who retired after 15 years in the role.
