Lasallian Volunteers (LV) will welcome a new recruitment coordinator July 1, 2013. Kathleen Glackin, an LV alumna, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and Communication at Loyola University Chicago. She spent two years as a Lasallian Volunteer at De La Salle Elementary at Blessed Sacrament in Memphis, TN, where she served as the librarian for students in kindergarten through second grade, taught computers, and helped run the after school program.
After completing her two years of service Kathleen remained in Memphis and served as the Assistant Catholic Campus Minister for the Catholic Diocese of Memphis working with college students at the University of Memphis and Rhodes College.
Lasallian Volunteers, a program of the De La Salle Christian Brothers of the Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN), provides dedicated, well-trained volunteers for one or more years of service to Lasallian schools and agencies whose mission is to serve the poor. Learn more here >
