Register for 2025 Summer Formation Programs

Registration is open now through May 9, for this summer’s Regional formation programs offered by Christian Brothers Conference.

The Buttimer Institute of Lasallian Studies will take place at Manhattan University in Riverdale, New York, from Sunday, June 29 – Saturday, July 12. This three-year intensive Lasallian program studies the life, work and spirituality of Saint John Baptist de La Salle and the origins of the Lasallian educational mission. The Buttimer I class is capped to 40 participants through a first-come, first-served registration process. Buttimer welcomes participants from the worldwide Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.

Themed “El Otro Lado” (“the other side”), the 2025 Lasallian Social Justice Institute (LSJI) will be held in El Paso, Texas, from Monday, July 21 – Saturday, July 26. This weeklong program will create a space where Lasallian educators can explore the realities surrounding immigration and engage deeply with the complex realities of life in the borderlands of El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. LSJI is an immersive formation program for Lasallian educators, Brothers and Partners in the Region based on the Gospel and our Lasallian vocation to the promotion of social justice and service to the poor. The number of participants is limited to 15 with a maximum of two from each ministry.
