San Miguel High School Appoints New Principal

San Miguel High School in Tucson, Arizona, has announced Ernesto Badilla as its new principal, effective July 1, 2024. He will succeed Brother Jesús Lara, FSC, who has served as interim principal since 2022.

Badilla has 25 years of experience as an educator serving K-12 students primarily in the south Tucson area in several roles including teacher, behavior support specialist, educational program director and principal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, a master’s degree in bilingual special education and an education specialist degree in bilingual school psychology.
