Four individuals in the District of San Francisco New Orleans (SFNO) were presented with Letters of Benefaction on March 29, 2026, at Mont La Salle. In a ceremony following Palm Sunday Mass, Brother Visitor Nick Gonzalez, FSC, formally recognized Lou and Suzanne Giraudo and Bernie and Sandra Orsi with Letters of Benefaction.
The Giraudos have been longtime supporters of San Francisco’s Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory and De Marillac Academy. The Orsis were recognized for their contributions to the Lasallian mission in SFNO, in particular to Lasallian Christian Brothers Foundation and Saint Mary’s College of California.
The Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools bestows Letters of Benefaction to individuals who have rendered significant service to the Lasallian mission. These individuals may use the initials “BFSC” after their names.
