March 1, 2013
For the second year, the Regional Young Lasallians Committee is organizing a “Spring into Action” initiative, which encourages Lasallians to join together in service with a project to take place sometime between March 18 and April 30, 2013. Young Lasallians throughout the worldwide Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools will participate in volunteer activities during this time as well. Whether you organize a new activity or link Spring into Action to an event you already have planned, get involved in this unique way to connect with Lasallians worldwide while helping others.
Lasallians are invited to share their volunteer experiences through:
• Twitter using #springintoaction13
• Facebook on the Young Lasallians RELAN page
• E-mail by sending pictures and stories to committee member Michelle Batista at michelle_batista@demarillac.org
Here are a few resources to plan your service projects:
• Daily tips on the Young Lasallians RELAN Facebook page (tips coming soon!)
• Customizable prayer services
• Spring into Action poster
