Students Raise $150K for Tuition Assistance

The annual Car Raffle Drive of Christian Brothers College (CBC) High School in St. Louis, MO raised more than $150,000 for tuition assistance to deserving students in the school. This is the largest amount ever raised in this spring drive.

The prize car was a 2010 Chevy Camaro. Tickets were sold by all students, and donors could also purchase tickets online. Students sold an average of 7.4 tickets per man at $25 per ticket. The winning ticket was hand-drawn by CBC Principal Brother David Poos live on KCBC–the school’s student-run closed circuit TV studio. The winner was Mrs. Glendy Lovelace, grandmother of freshman David Lovelace.
