Lasallians and friends from Tides Family Services in Rhode Island laced up their running shoes to raise money for Christ the Teacher Institute of Education (CTIE) in Nairobi, Kenya. About 50 people, including staff, clients, family, friends, current Lasallian Volunteers and Lasallian Volunteers alumni, took part in a St. Pat’s 5k to collect donations for CTIE. The run raised $3,000. Not only did the event help CTIE, it also fostered a strong sense of community for the participants.
